Nationwide IBC Collection Program
 
IBC manufacturers, and some reconditioners,
provide collection programs for their IBCs once emptied. These
collection programs have rules associated with them that can be
a hassle to both the IBC filler and emptier. Usually these
collection programs will not accept multiple manufacturer’s IBCs
thus requiring the customer to segregate and return manufacturer
specific IBCs to their individual collection programs. Often
this results in slow pick up times, large minimum quantities
needed, unexpected charges, multiple phone calls for IBC removal
and disputes regarding the IBC’s condition.
With this in mind, several years ago, IMACC
developed a Nationwide IBC Collection Program designed to meet
